Dr. Deb Silveria
Dr. Silveria is an adjunct professor at National University, Costa Mesa campus. She also teaches at Cerritos College. She has co-presented at EMDR conferences in the United States and Canada on EMDR therapy with Law Enforcement. She has worked many critical incidents nationally and internationally (Hurricane Katrina, Haiti), providing CISM and EMDR therapy after natural and manmade disasters. She recently returned from Uganda, Africa, where she trained a number of therapists in EMDR therapy from the UPDF.

Deb Silveria, Ph.D. is both a licensed psychologist and marriage and family therapist. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in 1993. She has a private practice in Costa Mesa, with a focus in trauma and grief counseling with children, adolescents and public safety personnel. She is an EMDR therapy trainer for Tapia Counseling & Psychological Services. She is also a member of the Counseling Team International (TCTI), an EAP that provides CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) services and trainings with Public Safety Personnel. She runs TCTI’s trauma recovery retreat for public safety personnel who have PTSD incorporating EMDR therapy, yoga, and equine therapy. She is also an EGALA certified equine therapist.
